Over the next couple of weeks, a group of children at Courtwood will become “Birdwatch Champions”. Along with over 70,000 other teachers and pupils around the country, they will be helping the RSPB with their scientific research.

The children will be creating some delicious bird seed cakes at school and then they will be counting and recording the birds that come to visit us. This information is very important for the RSPB as it helps them to track the movement of birds around the country.

Later in the spring we will also be taking part in other RSPB activities, so keep an eye out for further information.
