Grow Your Own Potatoes Project
Children from Chestnut class, Reception, Year 1 and Year 5 have been taking part in the Grow Your Own Potatoes Project. The classes began growing their potatoes in February and on Tuesday 11th June it was time to harvest their crop. Each class grew Rocket and Jazzy potatoes outside their classroom. The children weighed the potatoes they had grown and recorded their results. Every group were successful in growing a good crop. Chestnut class had the biggest crop in both types of the potatoes, with 849g of Rocket potatoes and 380g of Jazzy potatoes. Well done to all those who took part in the project.
