Reception 2023 Admissions 

The following arrangements have been made to help you and your child in becoming familiar with Courtwood Primary School and ensure a smooth transition.  We hope that your child’s school journey will be a happy one and we look forward to seeing them in September.

 

On Wednesday 21st June 2023 at 1.45pm you are invited to bring your child in to meet their fellow classmates, see their classroom and meet their teacher. The class teacher will take a photo of your child at this visit for their coat peg, ready for September.

 

The beginning of the Autumn Term is used by the teacher to make home visits, these will take place from Tuesday 5th September to Friday 8th September.

 

We start the children in 2 groups, morning and afternoon.  This will give the teacher time to get to know your child and for your child to familiarise themselves with the classroom and the school routine.

 

The schedule for this week is as follow;

Monday 11th September

AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30

PM Group 12.30 – 2.30

Tuesday 12th September

AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30

PM Group 12.30 – 2.30

Wednesday 13th September

AM Group – 9.30 – 11.30

PM Group 12.30 – 2.30

Thursday 14th September

AM Group attend all day 9.30 – 2.30

Not attending

Friday 15th September

Not attending

PM Group attend all day 9.30-2.30

From Monday 18th September all Children will start full time. 8.45am-3.15pm.

Please note Courtwood Primary School are unable to answer any queries about the waiting list until the list is received from the local authority at the end of April 2023.
